Beautiful Music

Anna and the boys have deemed the Dog Train CD as their new favorite music for car rides of any length. They all love to sing along, particularly Anna. I have included the lyrics to her favorite song from the CD below.

If you are not familiar with this particular piece of American pop culture, allow me to enlighten you with my own, personal review.

Dog Train, while in many ways just as irritating as the typical toddler preferred musical option, is also a refreshing change from Disney standby and The Backyardigans, which got old REALLY fast.

Anna truly does sing along and it is ADORABLE. I will try to swing some video for your viewing pleasure. The lyrics I have included might clue you in as to why she is fond enough to actually sing along.

Tantrum
No-I don't want to. I don't want to.
No-I don't want to. No no.
No-I don't want to. I don't want to.
No, no, no. I don't want to. Oh no.
Leave me alone.
I don't want to be quiet. I don't want to be good.
I don't want to do anything if you tell me I should.
I won't listen to you. If you call, I won't come.
All I want to do now...
...is have a tantrum.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. I don't want to.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. NO NO.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. I don't want to.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. NO NO.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. I don't want to.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. NO NO.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. I don't want to.
NO NO NO.
I don't want to. NO NO.
Leave me alone. Leave me alone.
LEAVE ME ALONE!
(Don't worry Liz, I am burning copies of this CD for your girls AS I TYPE.)

That's Sam's favorite song too! When it starts going fast, he rocks out!

Remind me to burn you copies of Philadelphia Chickens and Rhinoceros Tap too.
